Great Escape Finance was established after recognising that there was a growing movement for tiny home ownership in Australia. Looking further into the market of tiny homes and their finance we realised there was a crucial part missing to the puzzle... No lenders were doing loans for tiny homes!
Great Escape Finance set out to change this. Over the past 3 years we have been working with lenders across the country to get them on board and allow lending for tiny homes. This has been no small feat and has taken many years of building rapport and working closely with industry leaders, like ATHA, the best builders and the tiny home expo community.

Jamie Mitchell takes the lead as senior broker in the business and is always happy to have a chat and help clients work through scenarios to reach their ultimate goals. His friendly nature and positive attitude make working with him easy to do. With Eliza McDiarmid working tirelessly as owner and administration manager, the team is never short of work to get done! Eliza's efficiency and work ethic are second-to-none. She runs a well-oiled machine and has very high expectations of her business and staff, so that Great Escape Finance maintains its position as the #1 Tiny Home finance brokerage in Australia.
Kayden Mitchell is the newest to the team, and being the son of Eliza and Jamie, knows that he is becoming a part of something that has been helping clients reach goals for many years. Kayden is an enthusiastic and friendly lad who will take a journey with you and be as keen to succeed as you are.

Bicky really keeps the whole team together. Being the supervisor while Eliza isn't around, he keeps Jamie on track and makes sure the work gets done. He is the "good boy" of the group and loves pats and treats.

promoting tiny home finance for a number of years. We were the first to convince a lender to come into market and have encouraged other lenders to follow suit. Ultimately we would like to see a time when tiny home finance becomes an accepted part of the mainstream and tiny homes are recognised as an insurable and securable asset class. Tiny homes can offer a solution to many of today's most pressing issues and deserve better recognition.
